Shalin Liu Performance Center

An intimate performance setting where architecture and audience experience meet.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Where Music Meets Architecture

Assisting Epstein Joslin Architects, Kyle served as a principal theater consultant for this 335-seat concert hall in Rockport, MA, home of the Rockport Chamber Music Festival. The interior has been completely reconfigured as a world-class performance venue. Basket weave panels behind the stage open to a view of the ocean harbor. The performance lighting, staging, and rigging systems were integrated into the detailed architectural and acoustic treatments.
